A dozen white carnations arrives at a man’s door with a note that reads, “It’s been six long years. I haven’t forgotten.”
Who is the giver of the flowers, and what has he or she not forgotten?

In response to the writing prompt – The White Carnations
She was found, lying in a heap, by the side of the road. Left for dead by her jealous lover. A stranger found her, nursed her back to health, then gave her $1000 to put her life back together and start over. Now, 6 years later, she has a good job and wants to repay the man for changing her life and in fact, saving her life.

I love your “Good Samaritan” take on The White Carnations, Linda. I wonder if she’ll meet her rescuer again, or if the flowers are just enough . . .
